The market for peanut butter relative newcomer RX Nut Butter seems to still be working out some kinks. Unfortunately, our tasters weren't impressed with this natural nut butter, which was released in 2013. One common complaint about this particular peanut butter was that it was difficult to mix and spread due to its on-the-go packaging. One taster succinctly put the matter into perspective when she said, "RX mixing is challenging. There is no in-between; either a clump of butter or oil is formed." Our editors had problems with the packaging in addition to the flavor, which seemed strange for several different reasons. This had a fairly thick texture, and the flavor was quite quiet and mild, one editor remarked. When asked about RX, another user commented, "I dislike how grainy it looks." Other tasters considered the saltiness and grease-ness to be major issues. Overall, it appears that tasters' interactions with this product were varied because of difficulties in correctly mixing it as a result of its packaging; regrettably, none of our tasters were fans of RX Nut Butter.

Before the taste test, the majority of tasters were unaware of Santa Cruz Organic Peanut Butter, and with good reason. There was a general feeling that this one was too liquidy, with the oil rising to the top of the jar. There is great natural peanut butter, but our tasters weren't impressed by this one.
One of the people who participated in the tasting said, "This one was way too liquidy for my taste; perhaps it needed to be blended more, but any peanut butter that requires mixing is already a step down in my perspective." The consistency was described by another in the same vein as follows: "Much too wet! We have peanut juice right here." We wouldn't buy this peanut butter on our subsequent grocery store run.
- Justin's Classic Peanut Butter
The majority of editors did not like Justin's traditional peanut butter, even though the company frequently does well with its flavored varieties. You want peanut butter with a distinct flavor when buying regular peanut butter to replenish your pantry. The main element missing from Justin's Classic Peanut Butter appears to be flavor. Four different times, tasters referred to this peanut butter as "boring." "It is not the kind that requires a spoon to consume. It requires a complementary element "A taster critiqued this option. We're looking for peanut butter, not that kind." Notably, Honey Justin's Peanut Butter was repeatedly mentioned as a favorite even though our tasters didn't seem to like Classic Justin's Peanut Butter. This is a crucial distinction that might give Justin an advantage, even though we didn't include it in the test (we kept all the peanut butter unflavored to avoid skewing the results). Try the Honey Peanut Butter the next time if you like sweeter peanut butter.
- Peanut butter 365 Natural
The 365 Organic Creamy Peanut Butter received substantially more mixed reviews from our editors. Even though the majority of participants didn't like the consistency, the flavor was what kept this brand afloat in our taste test.
Although the texture is unpleasant, one editor claims that the flavor is rather good; it tastes like the peanuts were roasted before being made into butter; it is highly tasty. The texture was described by others as "goopy, very loose, and virtually liquid." According to another taster "The texture was really thin. Not. What. I. Want. Our tasters shared similar doubts about the durability of a sandwich made with this liquid peanut butter. If it would make the bread mushy, we can't eat it.
- Skippy Peanut Butter
I was raised on Skippy Peanut Butter, as were many other tasters. As a result, some people claimed that it reminded them of their youth. Classic lunchbox flavor and consistency; not too salty, according to one tester. Similarly, the following statement: "The timeless! creamy and sweet! When I hear the song, I'm taken back to my childhood. The brand "tastes excessively manufactured," according to those who did not find Skippy nostalgic, and has a "bad aftertaste." Almost exactly in the middle of our rating, Skippy Peanut Butter came in due to the varied viewpoints of our testers.
- Good & Gather Creamy Peanut Butter
Several of our tasters were skeptical that the Good & Gather Creamy Peanut Butter was indeed peanut butter when they first saw it. It had an extraordinarily deep brown color and looked more like a chocolate spread than peanut butter. Some people seemed to base their color decisions, while others were able to see past them. "Even though it looks horrible, the taste wasn't too awful. I wouldn't buy it, but if someone else had it, I'd eat it "a tester stated. Similar to what one editor said, "Although the color is rather unappealing, the flavor is not bad. However, it is somewhat forgettable and lacks anything genuinely noteworthy." Because our tasters appeared to have a generally neutral impression of The Good & Gather Creamy Peanut Butter, it received the exact center ranking in our tasting test.
- Jif Creamy Peanut Spread Natural
Even though our editors felt that the Natural Jif Creamy Peanut Butter was inferior to the original Jif, it did rather well in our taste test. However, this was again another natural peanut butter that needed a thorough shaking after being opened. This was "impossible to combine," according to one taster, due to its too-separated consistency. The natural butter's liquid-like quality turned off several tasters. It has a saltier and peanuttier flavor than sweet, but the watery texture puts me off since it must be carefully mixed. Overall, it seems like it's trying to be "natural," in my opinion "said one taster. Consider sticking with the original Jif peanut butter if you're looking for it.
- Natural Smucker's Peanut Spread
Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter's flavor drove this all-natural item to the top position. Despite the liquid consistency, tasters were still able to appreciate the salty and peanutty flavor. One test subject claimed that this option was "The weirdest of the bunch. Its peculiar texture comes from the inclusion of tiny pieces of crushed peanuts, which give it a pleasing crunch." Our tasters overwhelmingly preferred this natural butter, but if you decide to try it, keep in mind that it needs to be refrigerated.

Outranking all the other natural peanut butter we tried, natural Skippy was in our top two. Although the natural Skippy peanut butter almost made us forget that it was in the "natural" category, we were surprised by how well it performed.
This was mainly because it didn't need to be stirred, as it was noted on the jar's outside. The natural peanut butter was indeed the same consistency and thickness as regular peanut butter. The majority of people couldn't tell the difference between the "natural" and regular Skippy peanut butter. Nothing about this seems or tastes noticeably different from the norm. Some people have even claimed that the flavor of this natural peanut butter is "better than the original." It might be time to convert to natural Skippy if you enjoy ordinary Skippy.

The results of our taste test proved that Jif is indeed everyone's favorite peanut butter. Jif Creamy Peanut Butter was referred to as a "traditional" alternative, much like Skippy Creamy was. "fantastic texture nice and sturdy I want to spread this on some bread." Tester A wrote a letter. As for this peanut butter, another editor said, "The highest level of excellence brings back memories of my youth when all I needed was jelly to be happy." There is nothing better than the tried-and-true Jif Creamy Peanut Butter if you want to relive your childhood or are just craving a snack with a peanut taste.
