Last time, I waited too long and one fell, but the towel protected the floor tiles. This towel rack confused me. I gave it 4 Stas because it looks good and is the right size and depth for what we need. One thing that is very annoying is that the brackets attached to the wall have black grease on them which makes the wall dirty, and the brackets have to be cleaned with a lot of scraping and scrubbing. The wall also needs to be cleaned. I'm not sure why any towel rack would get this greasy. Otherwise, good and a bit expensive.

How to remove a towel rail with a fixing screw Many towel racks feature a small fixing screw that attaches the towel rack to a wall bracket. 1920's Glass and Chrome Bathroom Towel Bar Accessories. If you are building or restoring a bathroom and want a great industrial, feel. here it is! Only 1" diameter glass rods are 2 feet long, chrome mounts with 2 1/4" diameter wall plates or bases. Chrome hardware protrudes 3 3/4" from the wall and the threaded holes in their bases measure 7/16". There is a double bar and a single bar, as seen. The chromes are in very good condition, some plating wear is worse than others, you can see in the pictures. Some fixtures still have the old caulk inside. One upper chrome on the double bar has some old glue residue around the edge of the opening. The chrome is not polished. The glass rods are amazing and have a few drops of paint etc. but no chips. In total, the pieces weigh 10 pounds. The quality is incredible, it cannot be matched by current production. They come from an old ca. 1910-1920 Paterson, NJ Eastside Park estate in rich silk mill section. Winning bidder pays Priority Mail shipping and handling fee of $ to cover insurance.
