Ensure that they are well cleaned and drained. These two beans are often interchanged dependent on availability, and either one works well. Corn — During the winter, we use canned or frozen corn, but in the summer, we add freshly roasted corn on the cob. The avocado adds a delectable richness. It's not uncommon for me to slip in an extra avocado. We have used red, orange, yellow, and even green bell peppers. Any type will suffice. Jalapeos - Don't be afraid of the jalapeos; the Italian dressing mellows them down, and even children like them! Italian Dressing — this unexpected addition imparts excellent taste to every meal.
