7. What Are Our Beliefs and Efforts?

Yesterday, the discussion revolved around beliefs and efforts. We, as Aradis, should build our lives on these two principles.

What is the belief of Arad members?

Our belief is in the economy and commerce.

This is the common ground among us.

In other beliefs, if we are united, that is excellent. However, even if there are differences, as long as we are aligned in our core belief, the foundation of our Arad family should not be disrupted.

This writer, to the best of their ability, strives to share daily insights, however brief, to enhance your belief in the economy and commerce. But alongside this belief, without a corresponding effort, we risk falling into mere rhetoric.

Our efforts should be concentrated on 7 areas.

If we repeat and practice these 7 tasks daily, we will transform into global trade giants.

These 7 tasks are:

1. Enhancing Trade Knowledge, including general and detailed aspects of commerce and product expertise and...

2. Expanding Trade Networks, increasing leads, signals, and brand-building strength

3. Promotion, improving negotiation and follow-up power in commerce

4. Securing Products

5. Contract Signing and Payment Collection

6. Logistics and Shipping

7. Establishing Independent Media

So, let us remember this: our belief consists of two things—economy and commerce.

Our effort lies in 7 areas, which must be practiced daily.

Now, let the experienced ones say: if a newly joined Aradi trader firmly embraces the belief in the economy and commerce and repeats these seven tasks daily to the extent their time allows, what progress could they achieve even in a short period?

So, let us repeat.

Our belief is in 2 areas, and our efforts focus on 7 tasks.

8. Use your brainpower.

The author tries to discuss one or more topics daily regarding the principles of belief and jihad (effort), and a merchant as an economic commander.

Dear business enterprise owners who shape and nurture merchants have a rank higher than commanders and can be considered economic generals. They, above all, must adhere to these principles more strictly.

The topic I want to discuss today is this: when negotiating with people, whether they are a lead, a signal, a customer, a supplier, or someone who wants to enter the business, use your brainpower.

What does using your brainpower mean?

We have two types of negotiation.

The first type, which most merchants and business enterprise owners use, is one where brainpower is not used.

This means they speak to their audience like robots.

It doesn’t matter if the conversation is over the phone, through a message, or in person.

They have a specific style that they apply to everyone.

They don’t use their brainpower at all to realize that this person is different from the previous one, so their conversation should also be different.

Either they lack that commercial intellect, or they don’t want to strain their brains.

They have a set of pre-written messages that they forward to everyone.

If you also use this style, it means you don’t want to use your brainpower.

But if you negotiate with each person in a unique and personalized way, that’s when we say you are utilizing the power of your intellect for negotiation.

Please use your brainpower during negotiations, so much so that by the end of the day, you can say, “I have a headache from thinking so much.”

Live this way for a while, and your mind will grow, and you will no longer experience headaches.

It’s like bodybuilding, where a person feels pain in the first two weeks, but afterward, they grow stronger, and the pain disappears.

Please don’t be aimless in your negotiations.

Don’t be a robot; act like a rational human who wants to guide the other party properly.

As a writer, when I write something, my head truly hurts.

From finding topics to arranging the words, etc.

I could indeed twist things in a way that doesn’t strain my mind. But when I read your messages saying, “Thank you, Mr. Ahmadi, for changing our mindset,” I become so filled with joy that my smile stretches from ear to ear.

That’s why I say this headache is worth the impact.

I could write in a robotic way, like many websites you say you don’t even feel like reading, and move on. But I tell myself it would be a betrayal to my readers, and I don’t want God to include me among the traitors.

If you use your brainpower for the people you interact with, they will not only pay you but also pray for you because you’ve solved a problem for them.

If you speak robotically, you’ll still get paid, but if you use your brainpower, I promise your income will be more than ten times your current amount.

9. Your energy level must be higher than that of your audience.

I’ve heard that many merchants and business enterprise owners, when a customer sends them a message saying:

“Hello, good day,”

they simply reply, “Hello.”

And they think to themselves, “Well, what else should I say?

I said hello, I replied, what more could I have done?”

God speaks about greeting and responding to a greeting in the following verse:

“When a [courteous] greeting is offered you, meet it with a greeting still more courteous, or [at least] of equal courtesy. Allah takes careful account of all things.” Surah An-Nisa, 4:86

Every message that gives you positive energy, revitalizes you, gives you hope, and breathes life into you is a greeting.

When a customer calls you, don’t you feel energized?

When someone sends you a message, doesn’t hope sprout inside you?

Then why, when someone says “Hello, good day,” do you only respond with a simple“Hello”?

Why don’t you give a meaningful response to their greeting and return it with something even better?

If they say, “Hello, good day,” you should reply, “Hello and greetings to you, dear.”

If they say “Hello and respect,“ you should reply “Hello, with respect and honor“.

Haven’t you heard that if someone says “Hello,” you should reply, “Hello, peace be upon you”?

If they say “Peace be upon you,” you reply, “Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.”

If they say “Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah,” you reply, “Peace be upon you, the mercy of Allah, and His blessings.”

This means you should always aim to increase the greeting extended to you and return it in a better form.

Then, God says, “I am the One who takes account of everything.”

Don’t you want Allah to increase your financial account and make it prosperous?

So, pay attention to these details.

When a customer says to you:

“Hello, good day, please send me your work documents”.

Our enterprise owners, without any greeting or any energy, just send several videos from Arad Branding in 60 seconds.

Then they say, “I sent what they asked for.”

Yes, you did send it, but with what kind of manners?

With what kind of approach?

Did you greet them with your response?

If I were to define a greeting in a way that is understandable, I would say it comes from “Hayy” which means “alive.”

In simple terms, this means that if the other party approaches you sluggishly and lethargically, you should respond in a way that revives them.

I don’t mean to praise myself, but when you say, “I visited your site feeling low and read your article, and I felt revived,” it warms my heart.

Some of you, whether you are merchants, employees, or business owners, treat people in a way that they, feeling down and lifeless, become even more disheartened after engaging with you.

Truly, put yourself in their shoes for once.

If you greet someone energetically by saying,

“Hello and respect,” and in response, they just reply with “Hello,” how would you feel?

If you message a seller saying, “Hello, good day, I’d love to see some samples of your work”.

And in return, they send you only a few pictures or videos without any greeting, how would you feel?

Wouldn’t you be disappointed?

Would you want to continue negotiating with this person?

What if instead, they wrote:

“Hello and good day, dear.

I’m sending you a few samples of my work.

I’d love to hear your thoughts after you view them.”

Then after sending, they said, “Please let me know your feedback.”

A professional negotiator always tries to ensure that every response leads to a continuation of the conversation, encouraging a dialogue to follow.

This type of negotiation undoubtedly engages your brainpower, but it will significantly grow your income.

Please, give your customers a feeling.

Your energy level must always be higher than theirs, so they warm up.

This is what promotion is all about.

10. A Strategy to Avoid Forgetting

Almost no one who has been with Arad for a few days fails to reach the conviction that trade is the best profession. However, some people forget this certainty and return to their previous paths.

For instance, if someone reminds them, saying, “Didn’t you come to believe that trade is the best profession?”

They’ll reply, “Yes, I did.”

Then you ask, “So why did you abandon trade and lean toward another job?”

They’ll say, “I don’t know, I just forgot.”

Would you like to know the solution to avoid forgetting?

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) says:

“Whenever you wish to remember something, write it down, for writing often removes forgetfulness.”

In Arad, what does this hadith translate to?

It translates to the very comments you leave.

When you leave comments, you are effectively preventing your forgetfulness.

The consistency of those who leave comments is several times greater than those who don’t.

Those who comment not only remember topics better but also understand them more deeply.

Those who comment significantly improve their ability to analyze topics.

And there are dozens of other benefits in this simple act of leaving comments.

Write comments and continue doing so for 40 days, and after 40 days, see how much stronger you’ve become.

Please, don’t resist your own growth.

After 40 days of actually doing something, it becomes a daily habit and every day it makes us subconsciously improve. Most businessmen and employees commented every day, even when they were not forced to. The older people are in the habit, the more comments they make and the less they forget.

Negotiating is something far more than just talking
We should know all the aspects of how to convince people in the best way possible
So negotiating is a skill which does not need any talent and is something that can be learnt by practicing.

This is truly an inspirational article. I believe I have been commenting for a few days, and I remember every word of the article where I left a comment.

A person should use their mental abilities in different ways each time when speaking with a customer or anyone else. This approach will help in building long-term relationships.
