Broadcast seeder uses
Broadcast spreaders spread seeds in a fan pattern over a large area. Overlapping seeds requires several round trips because the further away from the spreader, the thinner the seed distribution. A general rule of thumb is that if the arc of your broadcast spreader is about 365 cm wide at its farthest point, your actual coverage is about 275 cm wide. The distance across the lawn should be about 275 cm each time. Set the spreader to about 50% and spread the seeds using a crosshatch pattern. 
Broadcast spreaders can be pushed, handed, or pulled back. It is considered by many to be the most versatile dry fertilizer spreader. Fertilizer is dripped onto a spinning wheel or spinner, which throws the fertilizer pellets evenly over a large area.
