Sultana is a white (pale green) oval seedless grape that also includes Sultana, Seedless Thompson (US), Lady Decavery (UK) and Oval Raisins (Germany,Iraq, Iran, Israel, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan). Because it is so prevalent in the Izmir region, this variety is frequently referred to as "I" (zmir üzümü) in Turkey. This is because "I" is an abbreviation for the letter "I."
