The news on Saturday, November 23

1. Condolences to the Esteemed President

Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.

Yesterday, we were informed that the brother-in-law of the esteemed President of Arad Branding has passed away.

From my inquiries, I learned that this dear soul, who has just embarked on his journey, was 26 years old and unmarried, having succumbed to lymphoma cancer.

We offer our deepest condolences to the esteemed President, his spouse, and his in-laws, praying for divine forgiveness for the deceased and patience and great reward for the family left behind.

We offer our Salawat and Fatiha for the recently departed and all those who have passed from among us. We hope that God will unite them with Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), as was also covered in yesterday’s news on the website.

25 Aradi merchants will meet with the Director-General of Employment at the Rural Development Deputy of the Presidential Office on Monday, God willing.

This meeting, which will be held at the office of the Hazrat Khadijah (peace be upon her) Association in Tehran, will discuss the role of trade in rural employment development. A multifaceted interaction and discussion will, by God’s grace, take place.

The main goal of these sessions is to utilize the government’s resources to support the growth of Aradi traders, and for governmental institutions to learn about the people’s trade, which will contribute to the country’s growth. It is hoped that misguided paths will be set aside or diminished, and that trade will be at the heart of the people’s economy.

Traders who are interested in attending this meeting should complete the form below.

It should be noted that the selection of the 25 participants is not based on promotion, but rather on:

  1. Orderliness in commenting, especially from those who comment in the morning.
  2. High scores in daily tests
  3. Attendance at meetings.
  4. Submission of trade documentation to arad102.

The registration deadline is by 24:00 tonight, November 23, 2024.

7. Israel’s Main Strategy

You are probably aware of where the name Israel comes from.

Israel is the name of the prophet Jacob, the father of Joseph, peace be upon him.

Jacob had 12 children, one of whom was Joseph, and another was Judah. The name “Judah” is where the name “Jews” comes from.

In the TV series of Prophet Joseph, you may remember that Judah was the brother who harbored the most resentment toward Joseph and insisted that he should not be thrown into the pit but rather killed. He was constantly acting against Joseph.

On the other hand, the brother who was the most compassionate toward Joseph and prevented him from being killed, offering the suggestion of throwing him into the pit, and later when Benjamin was left in Egypt with the king, not returning to Canaan to see their father, was Levi.

Since God had decreed that no prophet would come after Joseph from his descendants, the subsequent prophets were chosen from the descendants of Levi, such as Moses, peace be upon him.

The Jews, who are the descendants of Israel, believe that the correct path is the path of Judah, and they take pride in their name and heritage.

However, it is not only the children of Judah who are called Jews, but all the descendants of Israel have the potential to be Jewish.

Over time, after Moses, peace be upon him, and then Jesus, peace be upon him, and later the final prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him, the children of Israel were divided, with some believing in Jesus and others in our Prophet.

Those Jews who believed in these two prophets are no longer called Jews; the name “Jew” specifically refers to those who believed in Moses but did not believe in the other prophets.

As we have mentioned before, all the divine prophets were involved in trade and commerce. It is documented in the words of God where He says to the final prophet:

“We did not send before you any messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets.”

(Surah Al-Furqan, 25:20)

This means that being involved in the marketplace was the way of life for the prophets of God, including their means of earning a living, food, clothing, and shelter.

However, Israel, or Prophet Jacob, had a unique characteristic that no other prophet had reached to such an extent.

God has alluded to Jacob’s wealth in His book indirectly, where He says:

“All food was lawful for the children of Israel except what Israel (Jacob) made unlawful for himself.”

(Surah Aal-e-Imran, 3:93)

If you pay attention to the verse from Surah Al-Furqan, it mentions food, and the reference to food in this verse specifically ties this uniqueness to Jacob.

Now, the question is: Which food did Jacob forbid himself, and why did he do so?

It was asked from Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, “O son of the Messenger of God, what was the food that Jacob forbade for himself, and what was the reason for this?”

The Imam replied: “What Jacob forbade for himself, even though God did not declare it forbidden, was red meat.”

Prophet Jacob would sacrifice a sheep every day, eating half with his family and giving the other half to the needy.

Since this practice continued for a long time, he contracted gout.

After that, he forbade himself from eating meat to prevent the disease from worsening.

End of the narration.

Which of us today has the financial power to sacrifice a sheep every day, eating half of it with our family and distributing the other half to the poor?

And which of us has the heart to distribute the other half of the sheep among the needy?

You must have heard that gout is a disease of the rich, and this is widely known among people to the extent that they say having gout is a sign of class.

The Jews may not have learned everything from their father, Prophet Jacob, but they have learned well the principle of being wealthy so that when sickness strikes, it is gout, not any other disease.

They also inherited from their father the principle of never allowing another Jew to remain hungry, to the point that if one Jew is poor, other Jews gather to lend him money.

If a Jew becomes unemployed, they come together to find work for him.

However, just so you know, the work they provide is not regular employment but a business venture.

Over time, they realized that trade also has its difficulties, so they turned to usury and the establishment of casinos and distilleries to increase their wealth.

Today, their numbers worldwide are between 25 to 30 million, but unofficial statistics suggest they control over 82% of the world’s wealth and 75% of the wealth in the United States.

According to a study from the Pew Research website, no Jewish family has an income below 20,000 dollars per year, which today is 116 million Iranian Tomans per month.

16% of them have an income between 20,000 to 30,000 dollars per year, while according to current labor laws, our workers and employees earn around 1,800 dollars per year.

15% earn between 30,000 to 49,000 dollars.

24% earn between 50,000 to 99,000 dollars.

And 44% of them earn more than 100,000 dollars per year.

This means that 44% of the population earns more than 600 million Tomans per month.

Researchers have identified 4 reasons for the wealth of Jews:

  1. They consider money sacred.
  2. They teach their children to earn money and save from a young age.
  3. They consider trade an inseparable part of their lives.
  4. They also consider usurious investments an inseparable part of their lives, with the difference being that they are the small group that profits from stocks, cryptocurrencies, Forex, etc., and leave the rest of the people in poverty.

Although some statistics about the wealth of Jews worldwide are considered rumors, the wealth of Jews cannot be denied.

What is certain is that Jews have tied themselves to the economy and trade, while recommending economic activity and trade is the method of all divine prophets, and no prophet has recommended trade as much as our Prophet.

If you go through all the books of Judaism and Christianity, you will not find even one-hundredth of the hadiths and narrations about trade that exist in Islam.

To the point that in our Shia jurisprudential books, we have separate and independent chapters called Bab al-Tijara (Chapter of Trade) or Chapter of the Superiority of Trade over Other Professions.

But what has happened that Muslims and Christians have abandoned trade, while Jews have clung to it? This requires a deep investigation, and certainly, the hand of the Jews is at work in this matter.

It was these Jews who did not want people to love money and enter trade.

Whenever you feel that you want trade only for yourself and hide it from others, remember that you share this trait with the Jews, even if you are Muslim.

We hope that among us, the Aradi people and dear readers, there are no such individuals, and if anyone has such a mindset, they should abandon it and openly proclaim trade.

8. Review of a comment by an Aradi trader

Ms. Atefeh Amini Nasab, a nylon trader and a member of the board of directors of the Diba Tejarat Commercial Enterprise, wrote in her comment:

Endless greetings.

One of the beautiful and unforgettable lessons of the business school, which was taught by the dear Mr. Talia, was about this greeting and inquiry, which was firmly embedded in our minds and beliefs through a practical workshop.

Since that day, I have developed such a relationship with my customers that, as the instructor said, they feel indebted to me. Even if they don’t buy from me because of the transportation and other costs, they express their regret with embarrassment.

Some of my customers even send me messages after a call, thanking me for the time I spent with them and the specialized guidance I gave them. According to them, with that first connection, they saw me as an expert in my product.

And this feeling is indescribable.

End of comment.

What I want to talk about today is specialization in guiding customers.

The first question is: how much does it matter to a customer whether they buy from a trader who is an expert or not?

If you agree that it makes a big difference, then please read this text until the end.

Where does the word “specialization” come from?

IOther words that are similar to it include (specific), (exclusive), (property), (special).

Mr. Ghobani thoroughly explained this topic in their last meeting, and I borrow from him that we have two types of words.

General words, meaning public words.

Special words, meaning exclusive words.

For example, if you are involved in tomato paste and want to explain it, if you say:

“Our tomato paste is a very good product, with a reasonable price and very high quality,”

This is a completely general statement, and no special terminology is used.

But if you say:

“I will give you a tomato paste that you can be sure has a Brix of no less than 28 and will never fall below 25 under any circumstances,”

I am sure that only a few of you who are active in the tomato paste field, or who have higher business experience, would understand what I am saying.

This is exactly what specialization means.

It means saying things that only those who are professionals in that field can understand, while others do not.

That is how you become an expert.

However, the first sentence is something everyone understood, so it was a completely general statement with no expertise involved.

But the second sentence was understood only by tomato paste specialists.

The numbers 28 and 25 were completely correct, but if I had said 48 instead of 28, even you, who are not experts in tomato paste, would not have understood what I was talking about.

So, one of the tricks to figuring out whether someone claiming to be an expert is truly an expert is this.

For example, if someone claims to be a tomato paste supplier and you are doubtful whether they are or not, you can interrupt the conversation and say firmly, “Mr. Rajabi, if you can supply me tomato paste with a Brix of 87, I would like to proceed, otherwise, I will not waste my time.”

If they are an expert, they will respond, “What do you mean by Brix 87? Are you in your right mind?”

But if they are just a middleman, they will say, “I can supply that for you.”

They will have no idea what you are talking about and will go ask others, “I need tomato paste with Brix 87,” and that is when they will realize they have been caught out.

So, specialization in trade means knowing and using terms and phrases that only those active and experienced in that product field can understand.

If the density of such specialized words in your speech increases, people will say you are an expert; if not, it becomes clear that you are not an expert.

Be careful not to get so deep into talking technically that you end up saying things that even experts in that field would not understand. 😂

Speaking in a specialized manner is very different from speaking in a vague and ambiguous way.

Now, you may have understood why doctors write in a way that you and I cannot understand, but another doctor or pharmacist can understand what they have written.

This is a trick to make us feel that they are experts, because if they wrote in a way that we could understand, we would no longer pay them such astronomical fees.

I don’t like the medical profession because doctors want people to be sick.

Is there any doctor who would like everyone in the world to be healthy and no one to be sick?

In general, I despise occupations where getting rich is directly related to the misery of others, such as medicine, law, and judiciary, which thrive when people are always in conflict and dispute.

And I love trade because a trader wants people to always be in good health and their pockets full of money.
