This text is excerpted from the live broadcast of Mr. Vahid at Arad Branding Business School, and it is recommended that all dear Aradis follow these teachings for their personal growth.
The first point where we strongly get entangled in this matter is that my relationship with decision-making is not in the correct proportion.
Sometimes our decisions surpass our own character.
I am not an individual making decisions like an eighteen-year-old with five younger siblings.
Subsequently, when the father passes away, this person becomes the caretaker for the others.
This individual lacks the age and experience to be a caretaker, and this decision surpasses their character.
When a decision becomes larger than my character, I typically encounter challenges because my decision exceeds the scale of my character.
What happens?
I struggle.
What should I do?
Find a consultant.
Until you say, the consultant's mind delves into understanding them, specialize in this board, and so forth.
Forget it, 70% of the effectiveness of a consultant lies in their ability to be influential.
It can slap you in the face or say are you coming or should I take you?
They say this to the consultant.
If it's appropriate.
No, if my mind knew it was appropriate for me to be here.
If my mind reached the conclusion that you should tell me again, "Do you know why I came here?"
I came here for you to know it's appropriate.
When we say, "Go find a mature person as a consultant," not necessarily a scholarly person.
A consultant necessarily doesn't have to be scholarly; they can't necessarily solve your problem.
This person must have mastery over you and the tools of mastery.
I'm coming to your house in just three days to see what trouble you've gotten into.
Look at the calamity I'll bring upon you.
Bravo! This person succeeds with this method and is not much of a talker.
It takes a person who makes decisions, no matter how significant, one must forcefully make this choice.
There was a devout servant who wanted to pay his religious tax (Khums).
Undoubtedly, money is more precious than life, God describes believers when He wants to commend them, saying, "They strive with their wealth and their lives."
A believer who managed to engage in jihad with his wealth and later with his life.
You know, wealth is more precious than life; initially, it brings life because, no matter how much you say, we are indifferent to it.
A person went to Ayatollah Borujerdi and said, "Sir, I have to pay this much religious tax.
I will deposit this amount in the safe, and I will come tomorrow.
I can't give it myself.
I'll leave the safe key here so that, when I reach this state, you'll tell them to tie my hands and feet.
My safe is in such and such a place.
Go to God and take this money.
I want to give it, but I can't. Help me."
They said, "Alright."
He said, "We only have one problem."
"What is it?" he asked.
"We only have one problem," they said, "What is it?"
He replied, "I have a very foul mouth, and I curse a lot."
He said, "Ignore that, Just reject it and don't listen to the curses."
This unfortunate person came, expressing that he couldn't say anything.
They came, tied his hands and feet, took the money, and when everything was done, he said, "Oh God, have mercy on your deceased, I feel relieved now."
This type of relief truly requires some places and someone to achieve it.
I genuinely believe, and I've said it before, those who don't have greatness should go and find greatness for themselves.
Swear to God, having greatness is something else.
I've even said before, take a stick, put it in the middle of the yard, and say, "That is my greatness," and report to it.
If you don't have greatness, you'll be messed up, even I'll be messed up.
Everyone must have someone great from whom they are held accountable, and if you don't have someone to be accountable to, I'm sorry for you.
You must report to someone, you must be held accountable by someone, and this is the criterion for growth.
