Peanut Island
Peanut Island is a small island in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States, measuring 79 acres (0.32 km2), and it is located near the mouth of the Lake Worth Inlet. Dredging work in 1918 led to the creation of the inlet as well as the Port of Palm Beach. These initiatives were also responsible for the formation of the island.
