chicken noodle corn soup recipe
My own has been incredibly hectic recently and will continue to be so for the next few weeks.
Let me tell you what I've been keeping from you in recent days before I get to our recipe for the day, which is chicken corn soup (which sounds delicious!) and How to prepare the corn mixed with and canned delicious recipe with noodle for breakfast.
Since the original developer of my recipe plugin is no longer providing support for it, I am currently in the process of switching to a different one.
Although I haven't had any problems with it (knock on wood), I'd like to take preventative measures and make the switch as soon as possible.
In addition to that, it hasn't been compatible with Google for more than a year, which means that if I want to increase the amount of search traffic I receive, I'll need to make switching a top priority.
The new plugin that I'll be using for recipes is a bit more involved than what I'm used to, but it has a lot of helpful features that I can't wait to test out.
In spite of the fact that there is a button that I can click in order to import all of my recipes, I will still need to check each one individually to ensure that there are no errors.
You can be sure that I will always have it with me because I have over 500 recipes published on this site, Kawaling Pinoy, and almost 300 more published on my other blog, Onion Rings and Things.
chicken noodle corn soup slow cooker
If I haven't gotten in touch with you recently, it's because I've been toiling away in the comfort of my own home rather than lazing about on a beach in the Bahamas.
Ingredients
a half pound of chicken with the bone in
5 gallons or cups of water
1 onion, cut into quarters and peeled
There should be three peeled and crushed cloves of garlic.
1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger root
1.25 grammes of salt in total
One level teaspoonful of ground peppercorns
There are three ears of corn that have had their husks removed and are white in colour.
1 level tablespoon of soy sauce
cornstarch measured out to four teaspoons
2 eggs
onion greens that have been chopped
directions:
In a casserole dish, arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer.
Include water, quartered onions, crushed garlic cloves, thyme, bay leaf, salt, pepper, and a pinch of pepper in the recipe.
When you bring something to a boil, a layer of foamy foam will form on the surface of the boiling liquid.
Reduce the heat, cover the pot, and cook the chicken at a low simmer for approximately 15 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken registers 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Take the chicken out of the pan with a slotted spoon, and set it aside until it has cooled down to the point where you can touch it.
Don't worry about fully cooking the chicken; instead, just roughly chop it up and keep it warm in the oven.
Put the skeletons in the trash.
Run the liquid through a strainer to remove any solids that may have been suspended in it.

The broth should be saved, and the aromatics should be removed in order to make 4 cups.
Place an ear of corn on its end in a large bowl and slice the kernels off the cob in a very thin layer, working from the top to the bottom of the bowl.
When you are prepared to move on to the next row of corn, you should flip over the ear.
Using a spoon, scrape the inside of the hips to remove any pulp and milky juice that may have been left behind.
Add a few kernels of corn and a splash of soy sauce to the stew.
The cooking time should be somewhere between 8 and 10 minutes.
Raise the temperature so that it comes to a boil.
Prepare some chicken and add it to the mixture.
In a separate bowl, combine three teaspoons of cornstarch with one-fourth of a cup of water.
Stirring will help you dissolve and combine the ingredients.
Incorporate the cornstarch slurry into the mixture while taking precautions to prevent lumps from forming.
It is necessary to beat the mixture repeatedly until it becomes a thick paste.
Put the heat on the lowest setting and let the food simmer.
In a bowl, combine the eggs with the remaining 1 teaspoon of cornstarch and mix thoroughly.
Mixing the ingredients together and beating them will result in a smooth consistency.
After a 15-second wait, begin to drizzle the egg mixture into the soup while gently stirring it to break it up.
To taste, season the soup with some salt and pepper.
Before serving, place the soup in bowls and sprinkle the tops with the green onions.
