11. The Persistence of Some in Justifying Their Actions
Yesterday, a dear friend commented: “The reason some traders don’t visit the website or follow the training is that their business enterprises didn’t properly explain to them that they need to spend time and learn.”
Response:
I don’t understand why some people like to blame the business enterprise for every issue that traders face. The question is: When you want to drive, do you need someone to tell you that you need training to drive, or would even an ignorant person understand that on their own?
When you want to build something, do you need someone to tell you that construction requires learning and training, or would even an illiterate person understand that you need to learn construction principles?
So why is it that when a newcomer isn’t yet a trader, they don’t understand that they need to learn the trade?!!!
You say something that even the simplest minds can comprehend.
The idea that a trader should be smarter than everyone in other professions is beside the point.
In any profession, when we don’t know something, we must learn it, and human nature understands this—there’s no need for someone else to tell you that.
Those who present such illogical arguments are, in fact, trying to shift the blame for their own weaknesses onto others. Otherwise, everyone knows they need to spend time learning.
Everyone knows they need to learn.
Everyone knows they must follow instructions and simply listen.
And God knows, on the day they stop visiting the website and following Arad, they’ll understand no money will come to them.
However, as time goes on, they’ll begin to shift the blame onto Arad or the business enterprise that introduced them to Arad, even though deep down, they know they gave up on money, trade, and Arad months ago and are simply unwilling to admit it.
Traders, you who have committed to trade, need to be wise and not be deceived by people like this.
Among your customers, you’ll find plenty of individuals like this, and it’s up to you to find solutions for them.
12. Destructive Proverbs for Traders
People in the streets and markets think they know every proverb, and because they believe they know them, they end up harming themselves, just like the example we mentioned earlier.
“Money is dirty, it’s just paper.”
“Stretch your legs according to the length of your blanket.”
They live for years with these foolish beliefs, drowning themselves in misery and poverty.
It seems no one told them that Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “Wealth and money are the best helpers for piety.”
Or didn’t they hear that the Imam said: “The status and rank of a person are equal to their willpower and effort.”
This means instead of saying, “Stretch your legs according to the length of your blanket,” increase your willpower and effort, make money, and buy a bigger blanket.
And I often see in comments that some criticize the writer for saying, “Speak less and choose your words wisely, for even the little you say can fill the world.”
This is just another one of those useless proverbs that, if a trader follows it during negotiations, they’re harming themselves.
Against such proverbs, which mostly come from Sufi thinking, stands the noble hadith of Hazrat Fatima (Peace Be Upon Her) who said: “Always speak the truth, and if you cannot do so, remain silent.”
We also see long sermons in the speeches of Imam Ali in Nahj al-Balagha, some of which are quite lengthy.
Or in the Khutbah of Ghadir and Fadakiyya, where the speeches are lengthy.
Or in the verses of the Qur’an and the supplications of the Ahlul Bayt, such as Dua’ al-Arafa, Dua’ Abu Hamza Thumali, and Jawshan Kabir.
Traders, you should not be deceived by these street-level proverbs.
You need to be so proficient that if they ask you to talk for ten hours about your business, you should be able to do it.
Negotiation, in many cases, requires long and engaging conversations.
Those who say, “Speak less and choose your words wisely,” are often the ones who cannot even speak for ten minutes attractively. They want to silence others so that people think everyone is like them—quiet and reserved.
A successful trader is one who is outgoing and expressive.
If they want to talk for hours, they can; and if they want to remain silent, they can.
They can extend a conversation as long as they desire and keep the listener engaged.
You should throw these common, street-wise proverbs into the trash and get used to speaking at length.
Soon, Arad will reach higher levels where it will require orators capable of speaking for over an hour.
Don’t let it be the case that when we ask you to speak, you say, “I’ve trained myself to speak little and choose my words carefully,” and then can’t speak for an hour during a program, only managing to deliver a one-minute clip.
Where’s that emoji for nausea? This proverb really makes me sick.
Dear one who believes in this proverb, be careful, because instead of speaking concisely…
I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, and turn to Him in repentance.
Smart people get what I’m saying. 🤣
13. The Number of Non-Participants Drops Below 1,000
We are very grateful to Allah that Aradi traders are returning to the test and comment system.
What a blessed initiative this has been, as these honorable traders only just became aware of it after ten days.
Do you think these traders, who didn’t bother to check for updates from Arad for ten days, would have succeeded in becoming real traders?
These are the same individuals who, after a few months, loudly claimed they had dedicated themselves to Arad but achieved no results.
Praise be to Allah, they are now just beginning their journey, and God willing, if they stay committed, their lives will improve greatly.
The number of non-participants—those who had no involvement—has now dropped to 998.
The interesting thing is that many traders are clearly taking the tests without even checking the site updates, and their scores are very low.
Naturally, the guest posts for their business enterprises, which are growing every day, are being attributed to more active traders. This will either encourage them to rethink and improve or direct their customers to active traders who can earn money through this system, and the Arad brand won’t suffer because of those who refuse to learn. After all, those who remain ignorant and unwilling to improve only bring disrepute to Arad, leading people to think that Aradi traders are all unskilled. In reality, true Arad traders are those who are more knowledgeable and capable than many of the country’s leading economic figures.
Here’s the download link for the PDF of the 998 non-participants, so if you know any of them, inform them, or remember, these are the future failures.
14. Results of Yesterday’s Test for Traders and Business Enterprise Owners
Business enterprise owners are, thank God, organized and consistent, but traders are inconsistent.
One day their number reaches 1,719, the next day it’s 1,452, and yesterday it was 1,198.
They forget that on the first day, they agreed, saying, “You’re right, when we enter trade, we need to follow your guidance and dedicate time to the trade.”
So what happened?
You’re neither following the guidance nor dedicating the time.
I repeat this a thousand times so that those who speak about the rights of others on behalf of business owners understand that if there is any right, it’s the business owner’s who have dedicated their time and efforts to these individuals. They are the ones who broke their promises.
15. Analysis of the Traders’ Survey Question
The question was:
“Do most people prefer to endure the hardships of business, or the misery of poverty?”
And here is the survey result:
Those who answered that most people would accept the hardships of business, or half the people would, clearly don’t understand the people well.
These misunderstandings of people lead to mistakes in your business as well.
Let me ask you a question.
Who holds the fate of the world in their hands?
You would say, God.
How are most people’s conditions?
In hardship and poverty.
What kind of people are they?
If you say people are good, then you’d have to believe that a good God is causing these good people to suffer, which would imply that God is unjust.
But if you say that people are bad, and even worse than what they experience, then you acknowledge that there is a God who is just, and perhaps merciful as well, and that they deserve worse.
This is where Imam Ali (AS) says, “Good opinion of the masses is the bad opinion of God.”
If you believe that people would accept the hardships of business, talk to ten people who are poor today.
At the end of your conversation, see if they are more likely to turn to trade, or remain stuck in their poverty.
It’s a shame for an Aradi trader not to truly understand people.
Understand people correctly, so you can make money.
Stop with these “like-able” phrases you see on social media.
Praise be to God, 79% of Aradi traders have a good understanding of people, and this is very satisfying.
We repeat this so that this percentage reaches 99% or more.
Now, if you ask the same question to the masses, you’ll see that they strongly believe they would accept the hardships of work, but not the hardships of poverty.
In other words, the statistics within Arad were 79% to 21%.
Among the general public, the result is reversed.
16. Analysis of the Business Enterprise Owners’ Survey Question
The survey question for business enterprise owners was:
“How would you prefer to introduce business to people?”
And the responses were as follows:
I asked my colleagues to provide me with data on the 12% who chose options other than ‘easy and sweet’ to see how many traders they managed to bring into business.
Business enterprise owners who described business as “hard and difficult” have yet to bring even a single person into trade.
Business enterprise owners who detailed every small and large aspect of the business also have not brought anyone into business.
Business enterprise owners who presented the business in vague or general terms have brought in a few people, but these individuals have asked to withdraw within less than a month.
Once again, Praise be to God, the majority of Aradi traders are wise and discerning.
