Pumpkin Farming Equipment
When it comes to farming, essential equipment is needed in all three stages of planting, growing, and harvesting pumpkins.
Before knowing about the needed equipment a short introduction of the process is given and based on that you can decide what equipment you need.
First, plant your seeds then fertilize the soil and leave it until it germinates then plant your seedlings, next step is to raise them off the ground and water and feed it regularly, and finally, in a cycle of 60 to 120 days, your pumpkins are ready to harvest.
One of the most important machinery in pumpkin farming is the plow which is a hydraulically foldable plow with two rolls and is used to press the weed to the ground then it cuts the pumpkins off of the stem.
Some parts of this machinery are as below:
- Control unit then there is a
- pumpkin Pick-Up with screwable tips
- Pick-Up is hydraulically liftable.
- Crushing unit with stone separator
- Screwable crushing ledges
- Screening drum( for separating the seeds from pumpkin flesh)
- ARS- patented cleaning system
- Seed tank (with filling level indicator)
- Emptying auger
- Distribution plate
When all the stages of the process on the farm are done the pumpkins will be sent to the factory. In the factory you need:
- Washing machine
- Seed drier
- Heat generator with gas or oil
- Vertical screw mixing unit (with electronic turn, lift and drive mechanism)
Having the high-tech equipment and technology would result in better crops and lower waste. Therefore, the possibility to make more profits in the market will increase accordingly.
Pumpkin Seed Production
Production of pumpkin seeds is usually done from April to May.
To produce pumpkin seed first we need to plant the seed and grow the pumpkin itself.
What you need is a pot with a 7.5 cm depth.
Then, the seed should be planted 2.5 cm deep.
Water it and put it somewhere to get some sunlight when the roots are out of the pot you need to replace the pot with a bigger one.
Once the seedlings are fixed next stage is to take them out and plant them in a garden or on a farm.
Do not forget to fertilize it.
Make sure you use good-quality seeds to have better yields.
But before all of these find out about the market.

Commercial Pumpkin Farming
There is not a significant difference between pumpkin farming for commercial purposes and other purposes.
The only difference can be in the early stages of cultivation which can result in either high and quality yields or the opposite.
A local farmer might not care about some standards that are needed for the pumpkin to be able to export because their product will be sold in their own local fruit and vegetable market.
But as a trading company, we guarantee that all steps of planting, growing, and harvesting are done under the careful observation of knowledgeable and experienced farmers and inspectors.
The high-quality crop we produce is used in different fields.
One of its main uses is in the food industry.
For example, a lot of cookies and snacks are made with the powder of this nutritious vegetable, and with its steamed flesh, a delicious pancake can be prepared.
