The exportation of fruits is becoming increasingly important. Among fruits, the exportation and import of green and golden kiwi are growing, consisting a sizable part of the domestic market. However, today the food industry is facing many challenges such as the supply crunch and rising prices. Thus, the international market for fruits has also become more volatile. Farmers are now thinking of changing their products to less costly grains or decreasing their output. Nonetheless, it is believed that in the year 2020, the kiwi exportation will increase to 3.17 billion US dollars around the globe. This dollar exchange rate dropped by 27.8% in 2016, while the value of the exported Kiwis amounted to 2.5 billion US dollars. Moreover, between 2019 and 2020, Kiwi exports were around 5.3%. The five largest kiwi exporters (New Zealand, Italy, Greece, Chile, and Belgium) shipped in the year 2020 88.8% of the exported Kiwis. This percentage is based on a highly concentrated group of Kiwi suppliers. Among the continents, the most significant exports came from New Zealand and another vast majority from Australia. Countries usually export kiwis in dollars. In this respect, Australia shipped more than $1.74 billion, which comprises 54% of the average global exportation. In addition, the largest European countries with 35.8%. Excluding Mexico, the smallest amount of international kiwis are exported from Latin America (5.9%). The kiwi exports from Asia, North America, and Africa are 2.4%, 1.1%, and 0.1% respectively. In the following sections, we will try to analyze different markets and shops that particularly work on kiwis.

Kiwi Import
As the exportation of kiwi is growing so is the import of this kind of fruit. Kiwifruit imports totaled $3,190 million in 2019, down from the previous year. The USA for example requires the following specifications for the grade and size of kiwi fruits. All kiwis must be at least the equivalent of number 1 of kiwi fruits in the US, and this fruit must not be "heavily discolored. Moreover, kiwis should not be smaller than 45 in size, regardless of the size or weight of shipping containers.
