After the swatch has dried, we evaluate the efficacy of each soap powder by determining how well it removes each stain under normal lighting conditions.

The Kirkland brand of soap powder sold at Costco is an excellent option if you're looking for a high-quality product at a low price. For removing stains from polyester in cold water, it tied for the best place in our most recent laundry soap powder test.
It also outperformed rival procedures when applied to samples of cotton and polyester fabric stained with tea, which is notoriously difficult to remove.

It has a fresh, natural aroma, without being overpowering. We also appreciate that the clothes still smell clean and fresh after being dried without being overpoweringly perfumed.
Reviewers on the web are raving about it, and a new fragrance called "Calm" has recently been released. The tall, slim design of the bottle makes it convenient for storage, and the outer cap can be used as a measuring cup.
However, the bottle's cap will need to be washed after each dose has been measured out.
