8. Selection of the office managers in Tabriz and Sari
- Sepideh Hagh Seresht - Tabriz
- Zohreh Sadeghi - Sari
Traders who can work in any of the provincial offices will be introduced after acquiring and fully equipping the office.
There are two main material and spiritual conditions for this selection.
Material condition: Promotion of 10, 11, 12 or regular profit payment of 10 percent from trade.
Spiritual condition: Regular and daily participation in comments.
Offices whose traders' performance aligns with Arad's planning will also receive a good vehicle to facilitate their business operations in the best way.
9. Imitation Models
One of the extremely destructive issues for a trader is that the model from which they derive their behaviors is incorrect.
According to the latest statistics from research centers, 94% of the world's people have no specific model for their lives and, in colloquial terms, they live without direction.
As said by the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (peace be upon him), they are like chaff, blown in every direction by the wind.
You can only claim to have a model if your behavior follows a specific and consistent order and algorithm.
For example, someone who claims that their model is Arad but keeps their money in the bank for interest and does not spend it on the growth of their business structure is lying.
Leaving aside the 94% who have no model, do the 6% who have a model possess a correct one, or are their models incorrect?
The answer can be discerned from the level of success within a society.
Since anyone who has a correct model will be successful, the fact that we see less than 1% successful individuals in society indicates that even the 6% who have models have chosen incorrect ones.
However, the question arises: has the Creator who fashioned us introduced no model that we are so lost, or has He provided one that humans have neglected to heed?
God has introduced two good models in His book.
One is the pure and exalted existence of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him) and his household, mentioned in Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 21.
The other is the pure presence of Abraham (peace be upon him) and the believers who accompanied him, where it is stated:
"There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Abraham and those with him." (Surah Al-Mumtahanah, verse 4)
The question is, what qualities did they possess that made God choose them as a model?
The first and most important characteristic He points out immediately after declaring their role as models is that they were disdainful of those among their tribes and families who opposed God and His traditions, and no exhortation or advice could penetrate their ears regarding the truth and righteousness.
God uses the term "disavowal," which signifies a strong aversion and heart-felt enmity, to express disassociation from their unbelieving tribe.
As traders, we need to reflect on our feelings towards those who consider wealth to be dirty, even if they are close to us.
What do we feel about those who oppose the traditions and teachings of God?
How do we feel towards those who view trade, a tradition of the Messenger of God, as fraud and theft?
It's contradictory for someone to love trade while having a close friend who is against it.
Such a person is likely lying and will soon abandon trade themselves.
If we genuinely believe we have chosen the right model, we must test ourselves with these reflections.
We should ask ourselves fundamental questions:
Does the Creator who made me want me to be a believer or a disbeliever?
When He sees me as a believer, does He prefer to see me in a luxury car like a Benz or BMW or in a damaged, low-end car?
If you think God chooses low-priced, inferior cars for believers and reserves the luxury models for disbelievers and hypocrites, it implies an incorrect understanding.
Since no leaf falls without His permission, the success of luxury car manufacturers might indicate that He likes disbelievers to drive such cars.
Another question is: why is one sign of the emergence of the Imam Mahdi that social standings will be reversed, meaning the high will come down and the low will rise?
You have often heard that reciting Surah Al-Waqi'ah is effective for alleviating poverty, increasing sustenance, and enhancing wealth.
Let’s read the first three verses regarding the appearance of the Imam of the Time:
"When the Inevitable Event takes place,"
"Then no one can deny it has come."
"It will debase some and elevate others." (Surah Al-Waqi'ah, verses 1-3)
Do you read this and not think that God is signaling to His servants?
Do you not think that God wants to make it clear to you and me that one of the signs of the appearance of the Imam Mahdi is that believers who have lived in poverty for years due to distance from the traditions of the Messenger of God must become wealthy, and that disbelievers among the Jews, who have become wealthy through deception of the believers with trade, must become poor?
Do you not imagine that the wealth of the believers before the appearance will help hasten the relief of our Master and Lord?
Those who study know that the Imam will not come except to reform the world, filling it with justice and removing oppression and tyranny.
And all of these actions are done through the same earthly principles, not through the miracles of the prophets.
If the family of the Prophet was supposed to resort to miracles like those that God did in the story of the birds and the Elephant Riders, then Hussein would not have been martyred in Karbala with his loyal companions, nor would the descendants of the Messenger of God have been exiled and captured.
Thus, the reform of the world through his blessed existence is a completely natural process.
Do you not think that in this natural process, the Imam needs wealthy companions who will devote their wealth to his cause?
The Messenger of God, who was the best of creation, established Islam with the wealth of his wife Khadijah.
In the interpretation of the verse from Surah Ar-Rum, where it says:
"See then the impact of Allah’s mercy: how He gives life to the earth after its death." (Surah Ar-Rum, verse 50)
Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq said:
"God has commanded His servants not to merely witness the mercy of God but to observe the signs of His mercy."
Know that the mercy of God refers to Muhammad when it says:
"And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds." (Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 107)
The companions asked, "What is meant by the signs of God's mercy that He has commanded us to observe?"
He replied: "It is the signs that were left by the Messenger of God, through which He brought the dead earth to life.
One of the meanings of God regarding the earth refers to the people on it.
And when He revives the dead, it means that He instills hope in the despairing human life."
They asked, "What is the way?"
He replied: "It is Islam, which is the legacy of the Messenger of God. Through Islam, God put an end to the death of ignorance and gave them life.
And know that every sign has mercy and blessing.
They asked, "What was the mercy and blessing of the signs of the Prophet?"
He replied: "The Messenger of God said, 'The wealth of Khadijah, which I obtained through trade, was a mercy for me, and the sword of Ali is a blessing from God for me,' where God reminded me of this blessing:
'And remember the blessing of God upon you when you were enemies, and He brought your hearts together.'" (Surah Aal Imran, verse 103)
10. We can gather a community.
Today, I intend to delve into one of the dimensions of being a role model of Abraham (peace be upon him).
God says about his existence:
"Indeed, Abraham was a nation, obedient to God." (Surah An-Nahl, verse 120)
Is Abraham not just one person?
Why does God say, "Abraham was a nation for Me"?
How many people was Abraham?
It is similar to the last moments when only Hussein (peace be upon him) and Abbas remained.
Where the Imam said: "O Askari," meaning "O all my army and troops."
What rank must a person attain for the Imam of their time to call them his entire army and troops?
When does a person reach this status?
Pay attention to the continuation of the verse.
"Grateful for the blessings We gave him, We chose him and guided him to a straight path." (Surah An-Nahl, verse 121)
So, Abraham (peace be upon him) was filled with divine blessings.
He was chosen and recognized the right path, following it. When he said "obedient to God", the meaning of "Ghanat" that you recite in the prayer of Qunoot signifies obedience.
So, that he was chosen and guided means he was obedient on the path of guidance.
When we reach this point, some groups say that the blessings refer to spiritual gifts.
They imply that the selection is spiritual and the guidance is of the Hereafter, with no reference to the world.
I wish they would open their eyes and read the next verse.
"We blessed him with all goodness in this world."
"And indeed, he will be among the righteous in the Hereafter." (Surah An-Nahl, verse 121)
God has deliberately separated this world and the Hereafter in this verse to close the escape route for these groups.
Therefore, Abraham (peace be upon him) was also a person of the world.
When we reach this point, that same group will say, "Yes, Abraham had wealth but he was ascetic and uninterested in worldly riches."
My dear,
First, get out of this misery and poverty, and then we will talk about being ascetic.
Abraham had wealth and was ascetic; you currently have nothing.
First have something, then…
From here on, I want to say a few words to my dear ones.
Abraham (peace be upon him) was wealthy and for God, he was a nation.
We, the Aradi people, have the power to reach a point through trade where we can say to God, "O God, we will bear the expenses of several people."
Imagine that each of us Aradis engages dozens or even more people with our businesses and our shipments to factories.
Arad is also growing day by day, by God's will, and its traders become stronger.
Is it not possible that we can reach a point where we cover the whole nation of Iran and save them from poverty and hardships?
It is truly not far-fetched.
How delightful it is that it is said in description of Arad: Arad was a nation for Islam, meaning that the Muslims felt secure with Arad's presence.
Being a nation means this.
You become a nation on your own when you can cover the expenses and needs of at least the worldly life of a nation.
Now, one of us may be able to support ten people, another one a hundred, and another one a thousand or more.
What matters is that we can oversee a nation.
And how proud it makes me that a herald announces that he was the one who every day motivated this nation towards trade.
Every time I speak to my team, I tell them to look at any battle; there are individuals walking among the troops, encouraging the fighters to fight strongly and to succeed in battle, thus uplifting their spirits.
We are like those, and surely, God will not leave us without the victories of this war.
Hats off to you, merchants, who are the real warriors in the battle against poverty.
Your efforts in trade give us identity and credibility.
So, in this sacred path, do not fear hardships and do not bow your heads to difficulties.
For the oppressed people of Iran, there is no way out except for trade.
You merchants are the only hope of these people.
Whenever you feel tired and want to withdraw, think of that old man and old woman who have raised their hands in prayer to God and know no hope but Him.
Stand firm so that you become that hand of God to rescue the people of Iran.
