On the day of the wedding, this undertaking is a labor of love and one of the duties that everyone looks forward to the most.

To ensure that the petals kept their vibrant color, the use of the microwave process was unquestionably the best option. I started by drying the flowers using the inverted method, but quickly realized that this would cause mold to form on the interior of the flower bud, which would result in the loss of a significant number of petals from each flower, and I wanted to get as many as possible. Roses had the greatest results when it came to drying, and fortunately, they came in many different hues.

The last step was to choose the kind of paper that will be used for the cones. You could practically use anything, but old fiction books have a particular place in my heart, and since books were utilized throughout the wedding décor, I thought it would be a great tie-in to use them for favors. You could even use a book that you've already read. I thought it would be fun for the guests to discover what book the cone paper came from, but no one has mentioned it to me so far, so I guess that will just be a little nugget that I hold dear to my heart. Following this step, you will need to use a very small hole punch in order to thread the string through and tie the cone closed. Even though it wasn't totally tied shut, the fact that it was largely secured made it much simpler to move the cones to the location where the event was being held.
Next, place as many dried roses in each of those cones as it is possible for them to hold. For the purposes of tossing, we discovered that the ideal design was one in which a huge petal was placed at the base, and the remainder of the space was occupied by smaller petals that had been crushed.
Oh, I totally forgot to add that one of my goals was to have the visitors celebrate by throwing flowers into the air. Therefore, they are required to have the ability to be thrown with relative ease.
By the way, there is no way that I would have been able to create 100 of them on my alone, but with the support of my friends, I was able to do so.
