LEMON AND KIWI CAKE

I should devote a week to citrus recipes. So many lemons, key lime, and orange dishes are coming. It'll be great. The refrigerator was booming with citrus fruit for a few weeks (and still is), and we ate so many pieces.

I zested. EVERYWHERE. Florida is a citrus country. Yesterday, someone told me about his family's citrus orchard in the state's center. It's a regular tale around here.

A citrus farm sounds delightful, no? Long-term aim? I doubt my S.O. will support this. What happens? I adore lemon. Starbucks' lemon pound cake with lemon frosting was one of my favorite treats It was juicy, lemony, sweet and sour, and covered with glaze. The new lemon pound cake recipe is different.

I dream about the ideal lemon cookie. In San Francisco, Caffe Amici has the tastiest lemon cookie. The café closed, sadly! They had a great latte, too. But the lemon cookie was amazing. I've never found a replacement, but the quest continues. Everything was wonderful. These are some of my favorite lemon desserts. Grandma's Lemon Bars must also be mentioned. She's been creating them forever.  

I add more filling when I prepare these. Always add more.They're well-loved. Pound cake. Lemon Poundcake with Strawberry-Kiwi Sauce screams springtime. Bright fruity tastes are like a spring welcome party. This fresh, sunny dessert is perfect for a new season (hopefully).

The buttery, rich, thick pound cake is flavored with fresh lemon juice and zest. The lemon taste is powerful yet not sour. Lemony zip, yet sweet and tart balance!

I wanted lemon and strawberry-kiwi I assembled them. I adore how lemon compliments berries and strawberries with kiwi (who doesn't?), so I thought they'd work well together.

YES. Not usually, however. It worked, thankfully. Lemon with strawberries and kiwi is amazing. Unexpected tastes paired well. I'm eager to cook it again. Springtime!

KIWI LOAF CAKE

In addition to being a very rich source of copper and dietary fiber, kiwi fruit is a great source of vitamins C and K and also contains a significant amount of vitamin C.

  • 200g coconut sugar.
  • 300 grams of flour with built-in leavening.
  • 2 tsp baking powder.
  • 200 grams of organic butter in a soft form.

  • 4 kiwis, peeled and coarsely cut, with the skins removed.
  • Juice 1 lime.

Method

  • Prepare the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
  • Prepare a big loaf pan by greasing and then lining it.
  • After sifting the flour and baking powder into a bowl, add the coconut sugar, butter, and eggs.
  • The mixture should be well mixed.
  • To quickly blend the ingredients, I recommend using an electric whisk.
  • Combine the kiwi fruit with the mixture.
  • After transferring the ingredients into the prepared tray, place it in the oven and bake it for sixty-five minutes, or until it has risen and is firm when touched.
  • Put to the side and let it cool down in the tin for a little while before moving it to a wire rack to finish cooling down fully.

This loaf cake stays for days without turning dry! It’s been years and years since I first baked this kiwi lime loaf cake with yogurt. Taking half of it to my grandparents' place will always be a fond memory for me.

My wonderful grandparents, both in their 70s at the time, both with a strong sweet appetite and both creatures of routine. They enjoy cake, but offering them a kiwi or lime cake? Well, it was kind of a no-go.

I was afraid they would reject it out of hand because of the unfamiliar ingredients, so I didn't tell them what I had placed in it. For starters, they each gave the other a slice.

They were enthralled by it as well.  By the time my coffee was ready (a traditional Turkish coffee takes some time to prepare), they'd each eaten two additional pieces, or around two-thirds of the cake, and they were done.

Isn't it incredible? Well, I couldn’t. The cake was a hit with my adamant grandparents, who are huge fans of the classics. That could only imply one thing. It was excellent! They aren’t the sort to consume stuff they don’t like. And from then on I’ve prepared this kiwi lime loaf cake with yogurt several times.

My favorite pound cake is this one, and I've tried a lot of them. I adore how soft and wet it is. Also how it’s both sweet and sort of sour at the same time. Unique and delectable are the only words to describe this experience. 

KIWI CAKE BBC GOOD FOOD

This recipe for kiwi-based cakes is almost the easiest and most intriguing one that can be found on well-known websites like BBC Good Food.

Stirring it constantly until it reaches the desired consistency is the only option. STEP 2 In a separate bowl, make sure it can be heated in the microwave, and then melt the butter and applesauce along with the muscovado.

STEP 3 Distribute the sugar and butter mixture evenly on the bottom of a cake pan that has been oiled.   Place the kiwis and cranberries in this combination in the order that you would want them. After that, incorporate the lime juice into the cake mixture, and then pour it on top of the cake.  

Bake at a temperature of Gas Mark 5 for about 45 to 50 minutes. STEP 4 If some of the fruit falls off the cake as you are taking it from the pan, don't worry about it; just replace it and top the cake with shredded coconut.

You may serve the food either warm or cold. APPLE AND KIWI CAKE This seasonal meal is easy. Strawberry-apple-kiwi pie. This pie has a crust, apple, strawberry, and kiwi compote, and a crust for decorating. KIWI's acidity enhances apple and strawberry's sweetness. This pie is delicious, easy to make, and only requires two steps. For a 22cm pie: Croissant:  

  • flour
  • 100g sugar
  • Butter (150g)
  • 1 egg (50g)
  • 5gSodium

Compote:  

  • 400 berries
  • kiwis (400g)
  • 350g apple
  • glucose (30g)
  • 30g lemonade
  • 50g butter
  • 25g cinnamon
  • Vanilla sugar sachet

 The compote: Peel and dice apples. Same for Kiwis. Mix in sugar, cinnamon, butter, lemon juice, and vanilla sugar. Cook the fruits over medium heat until tender, 20 to 30 minutes. The mixture should thicken. Stir often.

Transfer compote to a bowl to chill. For dough: Mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add the cooled, cut-up butter, and mix until it resembles sand. You may also use a stand mixer's flat beater.

Add egg and form a ball. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least one hour.  

Gather! Fan-heat oven to 180°C/356°F. Halve the dough. First, 3mm is rolled. Circularize 22cm. Refrigerate leftovers. Refrigerate this baking sheet circular. Use the leftover dough.

Carve 1/2cm rings into this circle using a smaller mold. If the dough is too soft, freeze it briefly. Freeze the circle for 15 minutes after cutting the rings.

Roll the pieces to make 3-cm-wide strips. If the dough is too sticky, freeze it. Freeze the strips, then place them in the mold.  

Weld the borders and bottom. Pour in compote. Place three or more dough rings on the surface, allowing space between them. You may adorn the pie using leftover dough. I put the dough between each ring.

Bake the pie for 20 minutes after sugaring the crust.

The crust should be golden brown. Let it cool completely before removing it. Handle this hot, delicate pie carefully. It's done! Cold or warm is OK.
