Before being cooked, the savoury and spicy pasta dish known as cavattini is piled high with ingredients including Italian sausage, pepperoni, vegetables, and mozzarella cheese. Cavatini, a recipe that was at one point a famous recipe at Pizza Hut, is the ideal dish to prepare in order to satiate the cravings of a household that is particularly fond of pasta. After attending church on Sundays when I was a youngster, my family would often get lunch at Pizza Hut on the way home from the service. This evolved into a tradition in the family. However, despite the fact that I really enjoyed their pizza, I was consistently let down by the fact that they did not serve their buffet on the weekends. This was the case even though they were open on the weekends. You might be curious as to why. In point of fact, there are two explanations for this. To begin, there was typically a selection of fruit dessert pizza that was piping hot and all set to be enjoyed at the buffet. This pizza was served in a range of flavours. And secondly, their cavatini pasta was always available on the buffet line, making it simple for me to select it as my dish of choice. I absolutely enjoyed it since it had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavours, and it was the perfect complement to those delicious scones! Cavatini is no longer offered as a menu item at Pizza Hut, but I was able to successfully recreate it so that we may have it whenever we want in the convenience of our own house! The necessary components
- Pasta – I use pasta on a regular basis for no reason other than the fact that I remember Pizza Hut serving it! However, you are free to use any other sort of pasta that you have on hand in place of the spaghetti, including but not limited to penne, ziti, bow tie, or any other kind.
- Vegetable oil
- Italian Sausage – I really appreciate the added flavour that Italian sausage offers; however, you may substitute ground beef or ground pork for it if you want. • Italian Sausage – I really enjoy the additional flavour that Italian Sausage provides.
- Green bell pepper: You may easily use less red or yellow bell pepper instead, or you can skip the bell pepper entirely. Another option is to use a different colour bell pepper altogether. One more possibility is to make use of both red and yellow bell peppers in equal measure.
- Onions - Again, if the people in your family have a strong aversion to onions, you can skip this step!
- Pasta sauce – I used the brand Pergo, but you may use anything you have on hand; I just used what I had available to me. You can use whatever you have on hand.
- Garlic ground into a fine powder
- Chopped mushrooms - mushrooms are one of our favourite ingredients, but if you don't have any on hand, you may skip them from the recipe. If you do have mushrooms, however, you should chop them
- Individual peppercorns

Have a meal that came straight from the freezer! As a consequence of this, an extremely massive quantity is manufactured. If you don't require that much food, you have some wiggle room in the situation because there is enough there to satisfy the appetites of at least eight individuals. Freeze it! After you have used half of the mixture to fill an 8- or 9-inch pan that has been oiled, you can quickly freeze the other piece of the mixture by pouring it into a square foil pan and then placing it in the freezer. Half! Do you really want to go through the trouble of thawing and cooking your frozen dinner? Do not be concerned; reducing the amount of ingredients in this recipe by one-half is an easy and uncomplicated task. After halving the other ingredients and baking them in a square dish for 20 minutes, add the cheese on top and continue baking for an additional 5 to 10 minutes. - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Italian sausage, one pound, manufactured in Italy
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- There is a total of one sliced onion here
- 2 24 oz jars spaghetti sauce
- One tenth of a teaspoon of garlic powder
- Pour off the liquid that is included in one can of sliced mushrooms that is 18 ounces in size.
- One package of sliced red bell peppers with a total weight of three ounces
- 8 ounces of mozzarella cheese
- ½ gramme grated Parmesan

- Place a baking dish with dimensions of 9 inches by 13 inches inside the oven and prepare it to an internal temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit while you coat it with cooking spray.
- Drain the rotini after cooking it until it reaches an al dente consistency in accordance with the instructions that are printed on the package.
- While the ground is cooking, bring the vegetable oil in a big saucepan to a temperature where it is heated but not smoking by placing it over medium-high heat.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped green bell pepper and onion for three to five minutes, or until the vegetables are soft.
- When the original sausage is done cooking, add the Italian sausage to the pan. Remove it from the heat of the burner.
- Place the cooked pasta in a large bowl and add two jars of spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, mushrooms, bell pepper pieces, half of the mozzarella cheese, and the Parmesan cheese. Mix well. Stir to mix.
- After giving it a good swirl, dump the contents of the bowl into the container you have already prepared.
- Give the dish a half hour to cook before checking on it.
- Once the casserole has finished cooking, remove it from the oven and sprinkle the top with the remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake for a further five to ten minutes, or until the cheese has melted, whichever happens first.
- Take pleasure in the warmth.
