Do the leather shoes they wear judge men? They show if he has a sense of accomplishment in the small things. Putting on a well-tailored suit and wearing it with a pair of clunky black lace-up shoes does not make you a detail person. It is important that your shoes be as well coordinated as the rest of your outfit. The toe should be rounded rather than pointed, and the foot should have a narrow profile (but not be excruciatingly thin). Stylish, refined, and masculine are all words that come to mind. As far as I know, that is all you can expect.

In addition to casual shoes, a classic black lace-up is a must-have for any man's footwear collection. The versatility of this top means you can wear it with anything from jeans to suits. Also, do not think of them as occasion-specific footwear. I use taps, shoetrees, and a neutral polish to maintain them in shape, and I do this every few weeks. Yes, they have a small place in my heart. Here is the deal: Investing in quality will pay dividends in the end. I expect these sneakers to last me at least a decade. I would spend $150 on a pair of rubber-soled lace-ups that I would toss in the trash after a year. To be honest, I have no idea how much money you are talking about spending over the next decade. - The brush should have a wood handle and horsehair bristles, so do not scrimp. Keep an instant-wax sponge in your bag for those times when you just do not have the time for a complete polish and need a quick touch-up.
