8. Nationwide Closure Due to Extreme Cold Weather
It has been a few days that the country has been shutting down under the pretext of cold weather.
I think if you tell this reason to anyone, they will start laughing.
I don't think there is anyone among the Aradi people who believes that the reason for these recent shutdowns is the cold weather.
So what is the real reason?
With the recent events triggered by Donald Trump, the President of the United States, people have rushed to the banks to withdraw their money and convert it into dollars or gold.
The very same money they voluntarily entrusted to the banks, despite our loud warnings at Arad Branding: "O people, do not give your money to the banks!" Now that they want to take back their own money, they are shutting down the entire country to prevent them from doing so.
So what did they give you in return for the money you deposited in the banks?
Nothing.
Just a bunch of zeros and ones that you could see on your mobile screens and feel happy about.
Now that you want to turn those digits into something real and tangible outside your mobile phones, they are shutting down the country so you can't access what rightfully belongs to you.
And once again, pity the people who withdraw their money just to buy dollars instead of rials.
It seems they still don’t realize that it is the same old story, just a different cover.
Wait for the day the dollar collapses, and then once again, you will see these people in a state of confusion, wondering what to do next.
9. Money is meant to be spent, not to be hoarded and counted.
Woe to every backbiter and slanderer. (Surah Al-Humazah, Ayah 1)
Who amasses wealth greedily and counts it repeatedly. (Surah Al-Humazah, Ayah 2)
God intensely despises this accumulation and counting of wealth and considers it the primary reason that leads a person to backbiting and slander. He has promised such people a pit named "Wayl," one of the pits of Hell.
In contrast, the righteous, who are also wealthy, have a different nature.
Their characteristic is not gathering, hoarding, and counting money.
Their main trait is spending it.
"This is the Book in which there is no doubt, a guidance for the righteous." (Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 2)
"Those who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend from what We have provided for them." (Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 3)
We intend to discuss spending or disbursement (infāq) in this article.
Many people, upon hearing the word infāq, assume it means giving money to others.
If that were the case, a person would give away 20%—no, 30%—no, 40% of their wealth.
What should they do with the rest?
Has God defined what to do with the small portion but left the larger portion undefined?
When you examine the verses regarding infāq, you will not find that God states they spend only a portion of their wealth. Instead, the reference is to all of their wealth.
The most well-known verse in the Book of God about infāq is:
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies the reward even more to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing." (Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 261)
Most people make two major mistakes regarding this verse.
The first mistake is that people assume God said: "If you give one, you will get seven hundred."
However, God likened the person who gives to a seed that multiplies seven hundred times, not their spending itself.
Pay close attention: He said "The example of those who spend", not "The example of their spending." Then, He continued, "that of a grain".
This means that the person who spends is like a seed that multiplies seven hundred times, not that their act of spending multiplies seven hundred times.
There is a huge difference between you yourself growing seven hundred times and your donation multiplying seven hundred times.
I will explain this fundamental difference further.
The second mistake is that people assume infāq means giving money to others, especially strangers.
I have a question for the esteemed audience.
What do we call the money that a man gives to his wife?
Exactly! It is called "nafaqah" (financial maintenance).
Is nafaqah not from the same root as infāq?
Do you think if a man spends on his wife and children, God does not consider it infāq?
For your information, one of the greatest forms of infāq is when a person provides for their wife and children.
Let’s examine this verse.
"Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth." (Surah An-Nisā’, Ayah 34)
So, if you are a man and boastfully say, "I am your guardian, O woman," ask yourself: Do you truly have superiority over your wife, or is your wife more deserving than you?
Are you really spending from your wealth on her to justify your claim,
or has she sacrificed her desires, or is she managing her affairs with her own inheritance and wealth?
You read "Men are in charge of women", but did you read the rest of the verse to understand why God made you her maintainer?
He made you her guardian, but not just to give orders, dear.
He made you her guardian so that you work hard, prove your virtue and greatness, and spend from your wealth on her.
Thus, we see that infāq is not limited to strangers. Rather, spouses are more deserving of infāq than strangers.
However, the most important and fundamental point is that when God talks about spending on a wife, parents, or strangers, He uses the phrase "from their wealth" meaning a part of their wealth.
But when He described the seven-hundredfold growth of the person who spends, He did not say "those who spend from their wealth".
He could have written like this: those who spend from their wealth in the way of God, referring to part of their wealth.
While God, in this verse, asks for all wealth to be spent in His way.
Considering the share of zakat, khums, obligatory rights, and all donations to strangers, the total may reach 50%, but only if that person is very generous.
What should they do with the remaining 50%?
Why do you not consider spending for yourself as charity?
Because you have not understood the concept of “Sabeelillah: The path of God” correctly.
Is trade in the way of God or not?
If you rent an office with your money to grow your business, you are spending in the way of God.
Do you even know the meaning of charity?
What do Arabs call “nafaq”?
Have you seen a tunnel dug into the earth?
The material used to dig the tunnel is called “nafaq.”
Have you seen how mice dig holes and pop out at different places? That’s also called “nafaq.”
In essence, “nafaq” refers to the cracks and holes in the ground.
A hypocrite "monafeq" comes from the same root.
A hypocrite is someone who has many personal deficiencies, causing them to blend into any environment and lack consistency in their character.
Filling these cracks and voids in one’s personality and life is called infāq.
You are a merchant.
Doesn’t not having a classy and appropriate outfit for business negotiations create a void?
So, if you buy that outfit with your money, you are fulfilling the meaning of the verse: “Those who spend their wealth in the way of God.”
Isn’t not having a 0912 phone number with the 1 code a void for a merchant?
If you spend money to buy that phone number, you are spending in the way of God.
Isn’t having a high-end, modern mobile unnecessary for a merchant?
Doesn’t not having one create a void?
If you spend your money and buy an Apple 16 Pro, you are doing infāq.
Why do you think you must give your money to others for it to be infāq?
If you rent a stylish office, you are spending in the way of God.
If you buy a good mobile for yourself, you are doing infāq.
If you buy a high-end car, you are doing infāq.
If you hire employees to take care of tasks in your business that you can’t handle and which create gaps, you are spending in the way of God.
If you increase your promotion budget, with or without Arad, you are doing infāq.
When trade is the tradition of the Prophet of God, it becomes the way of God.
Any money you spend to grow your business and fill the gaps in it is charity in the way of God.
And by filling those gaps, God multiplies you 700 times.
And even more than 700 times, because the verse continues, “Allah multiplies the reward even more to whoever He wills.”
And do you think God cannot do this, even though He says:
“For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing”?
He can give you abundance, and He knows what you’ve done with your previous money and how you’ve spent it.
But when you get money, you immediately put it in the bank.
You quickly buy a house or property with it.
You love to accumulate and count your money, the exact opposite of what God has instructed you to do.
You have a thousand issues in your business and don’t spend money to fill those gaps, but you immediately think about accumulating wealth.
Do you know why?
Because Satan promises you poverty.
He tells you, don’t spend the money you have, keep it for bad days ahead.
And God says, “My servant, do you accept that in your mind you’ve envisioned a day of hardship when you’ll be helpless?”
“I will also sit in your thought and make such a day of hardship a reality for you.”
But if you say, “Lord, I have put my trust in You and I don’t think there will ever be such a day of hardship,” and spend all your money in Your way, leaving nothing for a bad day, then God will say to His angels: “This servant of Mine has spent all his wealth in My way, trusting in Me. It is upon Me to never let him fall into hardship.”
But Satan doesn’t allow this, and he always promises you a day of poverty, which causes you to think of accumulating wealth instead of filling your gaps in the growth path.
So, you may face a misfortune where your money is not given to you because of the cold weather, and you’ll find yourself with nothing.
But if you had spent that money, which you left in the bank, or in the stock market, crypto, or dollar, on your business, you would have reached such prosperity and greatness that no one could imagine.
Wait and see if the cold weather ends before they give your money back.
They are ready to close schools, offices, and any other places so you can’t easily withdraw money from the bank.
Otherwise, you know the closure of other places is just an excuse to hide the truth that banks are the real destination.
Official statistics say if only 5% of the people request their money from banks, the central bank and its affiliates in any country would go bankrupt.
They have already bought tall buildings and skyscrapers with your money.
There’s no money left to return to you.
These days will pass.
We hope that after this time, you’ll get your money back and use it to fill the gaps in your business life and the lives of those around you, and then to fill the voids in the lives of strangers.
I’m very happy that I’m writing this at a time when you can only access your money after the Arad Branding festival ends.
Because once the festival is over, no one can accuse the writer of writing these words so that people would give money to the festival.
Thank God that this week most banks in the country were closed, and today they are closed, and tomorrow they will likely be closed too, and Friday, which is the last day of the festival, will also be a holiday.
So, you’ll be able to withdraw your money from them when there’s no festival to say that the writer wrote these to gain favor from Arad.
Withdraw your money next week when the banks open again.
The promotions will be more expensive then, and it’s unlikely that after not spending for promotion during the festival with all the amazing services and low prices, you’ll suddenly experience a mental miracle and spend the money next week.
But I ask you, out of respect for the verses I wrote from God’s book and my more than half-century of experience, to spend money on your business.
Sit down and think about this question.
What does a professional merchant have that I don’t?
Some of what you lack is spiritual, and some is material.
For the spiritual ones, dedicate time to them, and they will improve.
Spiritual deficiencies might be things like lacking eloquence or not having a business-like personality.
These can be improved with time, education, practice, and repetition.
Some of your deficiencies are material.
The material deficiencies you have can be fixed with the money you have in the bank, whether in stocks, crypto, land, or anything else that’s just for saving. Bring those resources into your business and fix them.
10. Good News for Those Who Don’t Have Money.
Among us, there are those who truly don’t have financial means.
We are aware that an experienced trader with a monthly income of at least 200 million, who had never previously invested in promotions and now participates in the festival with Promotion 1, is in a completely different financial situation compared to a newly joined trader who has genuinely struggled to afford participation in the festival.
This section is part of Announcement 10 from the senior management, which has been conveyed to me by Mr. Ghorbani to be drafted and shared with all Aradi traders, especially festival participants.
In the past two or three years, Arad Branding has been engaged in certain matters with officials in the city of Qom. Thankfully, these matters have been resolved over the past two months. Those familiar with Qom understand that its environment is unique compared to any other city in the country.
Starting next year, the main commercial operations of Arad Branding will be based in Tehran. Arad is currently in the process of relocating its commercial capacities from Qom to Tehran.
Senior management in Tehran is preparing a larger, more elegant, and more prestigious office space than the previous one.
The office is designed in a way that Aradi traders, especially festival participants, can use its facilities for their business negotiations and meetings with clients.
This move ensures that traders who do not have their own office but deal with high-level clients won’t lose those business opportunities.
Another major development is the arrangement of several luxury cars, including Benz and BMW, for VIP services catering to domestic and international clients of Aradi traders.
If an Aradi trader has a domestic or export client who needs to visit the Tehran office, a professional chauffeur will pick them up from Mehrabad or Imam Khomeini Airport and bring them to the office for negotiations.
Additionally, if an Aradi trader needs to visit a client’s office or a factory for a business meeting, a chauffeur will transport them to the designated location.
The acquisition of these vehicles began two months ago, and the official unveiling of these services is planned for 2025, alongside the launch of new initiatives.
Arad will not allow any shortcomings among its traders to be noticed by key domestic and international economic figures. Our goal is to truly conquer the peaks of global trade.
It should be noted that these services will also be available in Qom, but the primary focus will shift to Tehran.
This is the extent of what the author knows about the plan. Further details and execution strategies will be announced in the coming weeks by senior management.
