If you truly want to reach an acceptable level in trade, you must learn how to promote.

This means elevating yourself and presenting your thoughts, words, and actions in a way that excites your customers and target audience.

Islam is full of promotions, full of excitement.

For example, you’ve heard that Islam says there are seventy rewards for saying salam (greeting), sixty-nine of which are for the one who initiates the greeting, and only one for the responder.

In reality, it encourages us to greet first. 

It has divided the reward into seventy parts and given sixty-nine to the one who initiates.

Or, when it comes to trade, Islam creates a promotion.

The Prophet of God says, Sustenance is in ten parts, nine of which are in trade.

This means all other jobs combined are one-tenth, while trade alone is nine-tenths.

Why is that?

So that all Muslims and lovers of the Prophet become traders.

What about other jobs?

They remain for those who are not Muslims or are not lovers of the Prophet.

He also says, Two-thirds of wisdom is in trade; if one does not engage in trade, two-thirds of their wisdom remains incomplete.

In other words, whatever job you have, at most only 33% of your wisdom is being used.

Why has he belittled or downplayed other professions in this way?

To encourage people to move toward trade, and this is a form of promotion.

Or, he says, Marriage is my tradition, and whoever turns away from this tradition is not of me.

This is another form of encouragement and promotion.

In truth, promotion means elevation with the goal of increasing efficiency and productivity.

Naturally, creating any promotion requires costs.

For example, getting married requires money.

Entering the world of business requires money.

Someone might say, "Initiating a greeting doesn’t cost anything."

Try calling the business activists in your trade and say the first greeting yourself.

You’ll see that you hesitate.

But if they call you, you’ll easily answer the phone.

So even saying the first greeting is difficult.

Islam creates promotions to instill what is best for people.

Then it says, if you are willing to pay the price of this promotion, you will receive its rewards.

Anyone who does not understand the importance of promotion in life will not achieve any special success.

9. I Won’t Start an Independent Media Because of What Others Say

I truly wonder, why are others so important in your life?

Will these people come to your aid in difficult times?

If you go broke, will they lend you money?

Are they willing to gather funds and help you build a respectable business and solid trade?

What do these people offer you other than trouble?

This isn’t just my opinion, but a lesson from human experience from the beginning of time until now: anyone who has relied on others and let their opinions interfere in their life has ended up in ruin.

We say that if you start your independent media, your leads and signals will increase.

Your business, especially your exports, will grow.

You will establish broad business connections.

Your brand’s trust and reputation will increase.

But then you say, If I start independent media, for example, the wife of my cousin's son, will make fun of me.

Are you really sure you want to become a trader?

Are you sure you’re on the right path?

Even siblings don’t matter in this case, let alone relatives and acquaintances.

At most, it’s about respecting parents, and even then, only for the sake of honor. After all, God Himself, in His Book, while emphasizing the importance of parents, also says:

If these parents try to lead you down the wrong path that you know is wrong, do not obey them. (Surah Luqman, Verse 15)

28. Promoting Trade is the Mission of Arad and Business enterprises that Love the People

Arad considers promoting trade as its mission, but this does not mean that all Aradi members share the same mindset.

Many employees come in at 10 in the morning, leave at 6 in the evening, and collect their salaries—may God bless them abundantly—but they don’t have any concerns about promoting trade, nor do they see it as their mission.

Similarly, many traders receive their promotional services and follow the business school’s teachings, but they have no involvement in promoting trade.

In truth, promoting trade is Arad’s mission, and some business  enterprises, though not all, accompany Arad in this mission.

Those who do support Arad in this mission have different reasons, which they keep hidden in their hearts, while outwardly expressing things that contradict their inner intentions.

Since we do not know what’s in their hearts, we cannot judge, but from the weak arguments they put forward, which we refute with solid logic, and seeing no change in their behavior, we realize that what they say is not what they truly believe.

One of their arguments is: "I haven't engaged in trade yet, so how can I invite others to trade?"

They say, "I’ll wait until I become strong in trade, then I’ll tell those around me to join, because today, if I invite them, they’ll mock me."

The beautiful response by Mr. Vahid during Saturday’s meeting left me amazed.

Mr. Vahid said: The relatives who don’t value you today and don’t take your words seriously—when you become successful tomorrow, do you think they’ll come and work under you?

Absolutely not.

And when I thought about it, I realized this was exactly true.

Most of Arad’s successful traders haven’t brought any of their relatives into the business.

Either their relatives don’t approach them because of the distance between them, or they themselves don’t approach their relatives due to disagreements.

I can name Arad’s successful traders one by one, and you’ll see that each successful person has 1,000 relatives.

Yet none of these successful individuals has brought even one of their close relatives into trade, except for a handful, who might have brought in just two or three.

Another fact: Among our Imams, Imam Hasan al-Askari, whose worldly life was less than 28 years and who was under military confinement, did not have the opportunity to perform Hajj.

The question is: since he couldn’t perform Hajj, did he stop promoting it?

Traditional trade has been forgotten, but with the efforts of businesses that love and support Arad’s mission, it will once again spread among the people, God willing.

For 18 years, Arad has been making trade more renowned every day without needing a business enterprise, trader, or employee to help in this mission.

Certainly, even if no one assists Arad in this mission, advertising companies will continue the work.

Telegram channels like Akharin Khabar, Khabar Fori, Donyaye Khabar, Khabar Farda, and over 250 other reputable Telegram channels, along with 1,200 internet sites, are promoting trade in Arad’s way.
Anyone who participates in this promotion of trade will receive their share of material and spiritual rewards, and even if others do not join, this path will continue.

The participation of business enterprises in this mission will accelerate the country’s rescue from poverty, while non-participation will delay the opening of global trade opportunities.

Success is certain and inevitable; the timing of it depends on the will and effort of Aradis.
